Here is a screenshot of connection doctor showing the RED DOT and the log file showing successful authentication. What is really odd, Connection Doctor shows a successful connection in the log file, but shows a RED DOT for the connection status to IMAP. Mail does not seem to want to keep the setting. When I go back and check my settings, I see the box is unchecked.Īs you can see from above photos, I have Use TLS/SSL not selected and the Allow insecure authentication has been unchecked by the system.
